EundiaGrid team at ICTP in collaboration with Democritos/eLab announces version 1.1rc of MILU: the Miramare Interoperable Light User Interface. It is an update version of the previous v1.0.2 of the Milu software. The main changes and features are as follows: - This is only a 64bit version - Software updated with the latest version of glite3.2 - Software updated with the v1.0.0 of the ARC UI - Added a support for the Gridway 5.7 metascheduler by a precompiled e preconfigured package to be integrated inside Milu. - Tested on: * CentOS 6.0 * CentOS 5.4 * Ubuntu 11.04 - Documentation updated We released a rc version because some parts need to be better tested and integrated. We would appreciate a lot some feedback. Milu1.0.2 is an update of the previous version Milu1.0.1. The main changes are as follows: - Software dimension is reduced: For 32bit * tarball package is now about 190Mb * the untar version is about 614Mb For 64bit * tarball package is noe about 250Mb * the untar version is about 883Mb - Added support for elab VO eLab VO support is now added. eLab is a VO used inside the Gridseed testbed environment, so, direct eLab access is possible simply installing milu in your gridseed site. For more information: http://eforge.escience-lab.org/gf/project/gridseed/ bug fixing: - During all user installation a VO, different from euindia, can now be specified. - GLOBUS_TCP_PORT_RANGE bug fixed. - Poor behavior of milu_change_VO script is now fixed.
